No machines are used in making these leather slings which means the crafters can work anywhere as they don’t need electricity.

Leather is locally sourced in South Africa and vegetable tanned. Vegetable tanning is the oldest and most natural form of processing leather using tannins from tree bark and plants rather than harsh chemicals. The end product is durable leather that lasts longer and is fully biodegradable. The hides used are byproducts of the food industry giving life to an otherwise unused component.
