Leather Handbag – Anele

It felt right to name our second ladies’ leather handbag after the maker Justice’s second daughter, Anele. 

The Anele bag is made from veg tan leather and comes with a detachable strap. The bag closes with a flap and magnetic closure. 

Leather is locally sourced in South Africa and vegetable-tanned. Vegetable tanning is the oldest and most natural form of processing leather using tannins from tree bark and plants rather than harsh chemicals. The end product is durable leather that lasts longer and is fully biodegradable. The hides used are byproducts of the food industry giving life to an otherwise unused component.
